The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the UGC NET 2025 June notification for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET). Interested candidates can now apply online by visiting the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The application window will remain open from April 16 to May 7, 2025, while the last date to pay the examination fee is May 8, 2025.

  • Application Start Date: April 16, 2025
  • Last Date to Apply Online: May 7, 2025 (till 11:59 PM)
  • Last Date for Application Fee Payment: May 8, 2025
  • Application Correction Window: May 9 to 10, 2025
  • Exam Dates: June 21 to June 30, 2025

Who Can Apply for UGC NET June 2025?

✅ Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks in their Master’s Degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognised institution.
  • For OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender categories, the required marks are 50%.
  • Final year postgraduate students are also eligible to apply.

✅ Age Limit:

  • For JRF: Maximum age is 30 years as on June 1, 2025.
    (Relaxation of up to 5 years for reserved categories.)
  • For Assistant Professor / PhD Admissions: No upper age limit.

  7. Download the confirmation page and take a printout.
