10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme

The Indian Navy has invited applications for its 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for the January 2026 course under a Permanent Commission. The scheme is open to unmarried male and female candidates and offers an opportunity to join the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, for a four-year B.Tech programme in Executive and Technical branches.

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit:
    Born between 2 July 2006 and 1 January 2009, inclusive.
  • Academic Qualifications:
    • Should have passed 10+2 with at least 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM).
    • Minimum 50% marks in English (either in class X or XII).
    • Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2025.
  • Medical & Physical Standards:
    • Meet Indian Navy’s medical requirements (detailed guidelines available on joinindiannavy.gov.in).
    • Height: minimum 157 cm; vision: 6/6 or 6/9 with glasses, no color/night blindness joinindiannavy.gov.in.
